Recreation

Ada, Oklahoma will provide you and your family with numerous recreational opportunities. Wintersmith Park has something for everyone in the family: walking trails, fishing, games, rides, a petting zoo, a flower and sculpture garden, and picnic areas. Ada is also home to three golf courses, seven parks, and twenty-seven tennis courts. The City of Ada operates three public swimming pools.

Located only 30 minutes away is the Chickasaw National Recreation Area and Arbuckle Lake, which provide numerous outdoor recreational activities. Also located only a short distance from Ada is Konawa Lake which is a trophy bass fishing location. Water sports are other activities available at both Arbuckle and Konawa Lakes.

Entertainment

Ada is also home to a six-screen movie theater and three live theater operations. The Lazer Zone Family Fun Center provides numerous activities for the whole family, including laser tag, bowling, miniature golf, arcade games, and batting cages. 

Sports

Sports are another activity available for all ages in Ada, Oklahoma. Basketball, football, soccer, softball, and baseball are all offered at the high school and college levels. Numerous other sports are also available. The Ada High School football team has won more state championships than any other school in Oklahoma. The Ada community is a proud supporter or all its athletes. Youth leagues are available in numerous sports including flag football, and soccer. Ada, Oklahoma was the birthplace for numerous sports icons, including Jeremy Shockey, tight end for the New York Giants.
