Ada, Oklahoma is home to a wide variety of community events. East Central University offers numerous performances each year, ranging from classical music and jazz to theatrical performances. Act II, Ada’s community theatre, hosts several unique performances each year. At the McSwain theatre there are “Branson-style” shows that attract professional entertainers.
The Ada Arts Council supports the cultural arts in Ada and sponsors numerous events. The Ada Arts Council was responsible to the debut of the Oklahoma Centennial Suite at East Central University.
