East Central University’s Career Development Center invites you to the ECU Fall 2009 Ada Business & Organization Student Part-Time Job Fair Wednesday, August 26, 2009 from 8:30 a.m. – Noon in the Centennial Plaza (between Hallie Brown Ford Fine Arts Center & Horace Mann). 

Our Business & Organization Student Part-Time Job Fair will provide you with an opportunity to connect with East Central University students about possible part-time off campus job and internship opportunities.  Over 1,100 ECU students graduate yearly with a baccalaureate degree through our schools of Business, Education, Humanities and Social Sciences, and Mathematics and Sciences.

We hope you will participate in this exciting new recruiting program as you share your local job and internship opportunities.  Thank you for considering East Central University students as you fill your part-time staffing needs.

When: Wednesday, August 26, 2009, from 8:30 a.m. to Noon 

Registration Fee:  None

Where:  Located in the campus Centennial Plaza (between Hallie Brown Ford Fine Arts Center & Horace Mann). All table locations will be in great locations up and down the highly trafficked walking plaza and it will be first come first serve so arrive early to grab your favorite spot.

What is provided?  Each vendor that RSVP’s will have one five foot table and two medal folding chairs.  Vendors may bring tents, extra tables and chairs, door prizes, giveaways, flyers, food, drinks, company/organization information to hand out, job applications and do on the spot interviews.  If your vendor tents need to be staked into the ground you may set up a few feet away on the east lawn of Horace Mann. 

What about electricity at my table?  Do to the location no electricity is available.

Parking:  A one-day event parking permit will be e-mailed out on Monday, August 24 to all of the vendors that RSVP.

How do I register to attend?

• The Career Development Center will begin accepting registrations immediately for the Ada Business & Organization Student Part-Time Job Fair.
• There’s a registration form following this page to print off and fax to 580.559.5868 or save it as a word document and e-mail back to tessary@ecok.edu.  If you have any problems with registering, please contact Todd Essary, Ada Business & Organization Student Part-Time Job Fair Director at 580.559.5890.

Registration Deadline:  by 5:00 p.m. Monday, August 24, 2009.  Early submission is welcomed to provide for proper planning.
