City of Ada

The Ada City Council is composed of five members: one representative from each of the city’s four wards, and an “at-large” council member. The current Ada City Council members are:

The City of Ada has a planning commission that meets each month to discuss development applications and any city development plans. Zoning Regulations are in effect in the City of Ada.

Pontotoc County

Pontotoc County is governed by three County Commissioners, each representing a different district. The current County Commissioners are:

Gary Starns District 1
Danny Davis District 2
Winford Wood District 3

The Pontotoc County Commissioners are the governing body of the Pontotoc County Courthouse. Other responsibilities are: maintaining the county’s roadway system, issuing calls for elections, organizing 911 services, and appointing members of county boards and commissions.

The Pontotoc County Commissioners meets every Monday at 9:00 am at the Pontotoc County Courthouse.
