City of Ada Construction began on Lonnie Abbott Boulevard between Ada Ford Lincoln Mercury and Ada Sales and Rental. When the project is completed next summer, Lonnie Abbott will be completely four-lane. Several parcels of undeveloped land will become much more marketable because of the widening. The planned widening was one attractive feature for Chili’s, Holiday Inn Express, and the new owners of North Hills Mall. With the new entrance to Ada off of the new Highway 99 By-Pass, Lonnie Abbott Boulevard will carry traffic through one of Ada’s major commercial areas.
