The Ada Jobs Foundation is the economic development arm of the City of Ada. We were established in 1998 to create and retain quality jobs for the Ada area. The Ada Jobs Foundation works in partnership with state and local government, educators, training providers, financial institutions, and business.

Our partners include Ada Area Chamber of Commerce, Ada Industrial Development Corporation, Chickasaw Nation, City of Ada, East Central University, Pontotoc County Commissioners, Pontotoc Technology Center, Science and Natural Resources Foundation, and Tri-County Indian Nations, CDC.

Ada Jobs Foundation is a non-profit organization, funded in part by membership dues and tax deductible contributions. In addition to membership dues, funding is provided by a contract with the City of Ada.

Ada Jobs Foundation works to improve the economy of Ada on three fronts:

  • Retaining existing jobs
  • Recruiting firms
  • Encouraging and supporting new start-up firms.
By becoming a member of the Ada Jobs Foundation, you are supporting the future economic growth of the City of Ada. When you join the Ada Jobs Foundation you help the Ada community invest Proposition 2 funds wisely. Your dues go directly to work, attracting and keeping high quality jobs for Ada. Together with your help, we’re building a stronger foundation for Ada’s future. Membership is available to individuals and businesses at a variety of different levels. Membership starts at $225. The Ada Jobs Foundation also accepts charitable donations, which are tax deductible.
