Oklahoma Department of Transportation The Oklahoma Department of Transportation held a grand opening for a 7-mile section of the State Highway 99 circumference route. This event is a significant accomplishment in achieving 4-lane access to Ada. When construction is completed on all sections of State Highway 99, Ada will have 4-lane access to I-40, and eventually to I-44. This route will connect us to Tulsa, the McClellan-Kerr Arkansas River Navigation System, and Kansas City. From the McClellan-Kerr system, goods can be transported economically by water to either the Great Lakes or the Gulf of Mexico.
