  AmericInn Construction began on an AmericInn on Arlington Boulevard. The hotel is expected to open in late 2009.
  Hampton Inn & Suites Construction began on Hampton Inn & Suites in mid-2009. This hotel is located in the Stone Creek Shopping Center on Lonnie Abbott Boulevard.
  PetSense PetSense opened a retail location in the Hoppe Shopping Center. 
  Rib Crib Rib Crib remodeled a existing restaurant facility and opened their first Ada location in the summer.
  Quizno's Local residents opened a Quizno's franchise. 
 2008
  Santa Fe Steakhouse opened in Ada on Lonnie Abbott Boulevard.
  Starbucks Starbucks opened a franchise on Lonnie Abbott Boulevard. 
 2007
  Holiday Inn Express Holiday Inn Express opened an 84-bed hotel in Ada. Each room features a pantry with mini-fridge, microwave, and comfortable, flexible seating including a sleeper sofa bed in select rooms.

Applebee’s The grand opening of Applebee’s was held on April 3, 2006. Restaurant patrons stood in line awaiting the opportunity to be one of the first people to enjoy this new eatery.


 

Chili’s The grand opening of Chili’s was held on March 16, 2006. Ada citizens waited in line to be one of the first people to enjoy this restaurant.


              

 

Holiday Inn Express The City of Ada issued a building permit for $2.1 million for the construction of a Holiday Inn Express along Lonnie Abbott Boulevard. The completion of this hotel is planned for the fall.


 

Wal-Mart The Ada Wal-Mart SuperCenter underwent a $750,000 remodeling project. The remodeling project included rearranging and replacing fixtures, as well as updating the building exterior.

  Applebee’s Construction began on a $1 million building that will be the home of Applebee’s. The construction should be completed and the restaurant operational by March 2006.

Holiday Inn Express Groundbreaking on a three-story, 50,000 square foot Holiday Inn Express was held. The $2 million hotel will provide upscale lodging for Ada’s visitors. 25 of the rooms at the Holiday Inn Express will be suite style and the hotel will also feature a large meeting room. Construction should be completed by Fall 2006.


 

Home Depot Home Depot opened its first Oklahoma store outside the greater Oklahoma City metro area in Ada.
